We sheltered in a cave from the rain, a bit fed up with the weather, sunset looked like being another ‘grey one’. Perhaps the 5am wake-ups were taking their toll.
A few moments later, as I’m setting up the picture, Be turns towards me – “Look at all the gannets out to sea, there’s loads of them!”
We watched the gannets fishing and our spirits lifted, and so did the clouds, just enough to get the picture we had planned, the incoming tide swirling around the rocks.
